Not everyone can obtain a spouse visa through international marriage; it will not be granted unless the "spouse visa approval requirements" set out in the Immigration Control Act are met.

Once you have held a spouse visa for more than three years, you are eligible to apply for permanent residence (usually 10 years is required).

Our office supports foreign nationals in acquiring Japanese citizenship (naturalization).
